Teaching responsibilities
Teaching responsibilities are five courses per academic year. We seek candidates qualified to teach introductory and upper-level courses on Buddhist Studies and more broadly on Asian religion and philosophy. Candidates should also have the ability to teach an introductory course on world religions.

Required qualifications
The successful candidate will demonstrate competence in Religious Studies theory and methods, mastery of languages relevant to their area of specialization, have a Ph.D. in Religious Studies or a closely related field by employment start date, and possess the skill and enthusiasm required for research and teaching with excellence in Buddhist Studies and Religious Studies.
