Candidates should have received a PhD in Indian Studies or related field in the last five years (between July 1, 2010 and July 1, 2015).

The candidate must have demonstrated competence in Sanskrit, teaching experience, and experience with digital projects. Teaching duties include one course per semester in the Department, one undergraduate, one graduate. Digital responsibilities include the production and maintenance of digital texts in Sanskrit and Prakrit for SARIT, including the addition of TEI-XML encoding to plain text, and coordinating the development of the SARIT web application.
