					<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies, Old Dominion University (Norfolk, Virginia, USA) looks for a faculty member specializing in Asian Philosophy.<span id="more-354"></span></p>
<p>Candidate will be responsible for teaching introductory World Religions, as well as upper-level courses in Asian Philosophy and Religion (e.g., Asian Religions, Comparative Philosophy, Hinduism, Buddhism).</p>
<p>Course load: 3/3.</p>
<p>Compelling evidence of teaching effectiveness and scholarly potential required. Successful candidate will be expected to pursue an active research agenda. Completed<strong> PhD</strong> in Philosophy or Religious Studies required by the time of appointment and preferred by time of application. The candidate may also have opportunities to teach other upper-level courses that complement the department’s existing areas of curricular strength.</p>
